INVESTING IN CANTERBURY, IS IT A GOOD IDEA?
Located in the Kent area, the City of Canterbury sits around 60 miles outside of the centre of London, it’s one of the most historic cities in the UK attracting millions of tourists every year, which makes it a popular area for holiday lets in particular.
Being so close to London, as you would expect, the transport links are great. You can get to the capital city via the M2, and the area is also connected to the A2 and A28. This obviously makes it popular amongst professionals as a beautiful city to commute from.
Furthermore, it’s a university city, attracting thousands of students a year to the University of Kent and Canterbury Christ Church University as well as two smaller universities. Having Universities does of course mean students, which means student rental property – a great investment opportunity.
