I have worked for 16 years in property. I started as a sales negotiator for another national property buying company (Gateway Group) and worked my way up to Senior Manager with a team of 30 under my management. I left Gateway Group in 2012 to set up The Property Buying Company with my business partner and joint CEO Karl McArdle.

We are now in our 12th year of trading and we have 40 employees and a turnover in excess of £30M. I have bought, sold and traded over 3000 properties in the last 16 years. I am also a professional landlord and hold a number of residential buy to lets.

CEO – I am the CEO of The Property Buying Company which includes The Property Sourcing Company which is the investor focused arm of the business.

I am passionate about property investing so I act in an advisory role to the Investment Sales Manager, David Barr. I do make every effort to speak with our investors and I am happy to offer them any advice and support to help them invest in property through our business.

I am an active property investor. I have an extensive buy to let portfolio and I have also developed, refurbished and flipped 100’s of properties personally.

Setting The Property Sourcing Company arm of the business up as it was a long term ambition to have a property investment company incorporated in the The Property Buying Company.

We have always dealt with a handful of investors on a closed marketing basis but we really wanted to branch this out nationally and the vision has finally come to fruition with the help of David Barr (DB) and his team (and our great marketing department!)

I am an avid Leeds United supporter so I love to get to Elland Road as much as possible. I enjoy networking through the Clique 100 club which is a great mix of social and business. I also like to keep fit and work out in our office gym!
