I actually had a bit of an unusual start to my property journey landing my first role in Marbella and Mallorca working for Sotheby’s International Realty, and although it’s a completely different market I picked up a lot of valuable skills there.

Since then I’ve worked in both sales and lettings, for corporates and independent agents in the UK. If I was going to pinpoint something that I enjoy most it would have to be the appraisal aspect of the business and spotting the “right” opportunity.

I am the Investment Sales Manager. It’s my responsibility to ensure everything in the company runs smoothly and that we have plenty of stock to sell to our investor clients. The simplest way to describe my day to day is to think of me as the middleman between a buying investor and motivated seller.

The most enjoyable part about my job is the variety of people I speak to. It could be buyers, vendors, solicitors, brokers or lenders. Work doesn’t stop outside the office as I am always looking to expand my network and make connections that can help my investor clients buy more!

Actually, yes I have. It’s been a rather long journey and I actually bought my first investment property in Bournemouth almost 20 years ago! I have since added several properties to my portfolio as holds.

I always like to work on portfolio sales, they can be a bit of a challenge but extremely rewarding. A lot of time is invested agreeing a deal that suits both parties, and when a large portfolio completes it’s an extremely satisfying feeling.

I’m a bit of a foodie and I absolutely love my travel, so those two things are always at the top of the list. If I could throw a curveball in, it would be that I love scuba diving and skiing, so any travel that includes either of those is naturally a great trip!
